EMC is participating in the IDC East Africa CIO Summit 2015 being held from June 18th at Kempinski Hotel, Nairobi The summit is set to bring together an audience of over 80 CIOs and senior IT professionals from over 4 countries in East Africa to gain insights from industry experts as well as real–world experiences from CIOs on critical business and technology issues.
At the event, EMC’s Said Rechchad, General Manager – Southern & East Africa, will share his vision on how Big Data and real time analytics are disrupting the whole business model and transforming industries and businesses in the process, and how EMC is helping enterprises transform into software defined enterprises with a completely new business model. Businesses need to create cross functional support as well as ways to leverage blended cloud models to meet changing customer requirements in the new era of mobile, cloud and big data.
Rechchad will also explain the importance of adopting Enterprise Hybrid Cloud as it enables businesses and their IT organizations flexibility in where they host their many and varied workloads. CIOs need to know that a well-run hybrid cloud must allow enterprises to seamlessly offer services and apps to their users from the device of their choice, whether they originate from an on premise data center or from public cloud sources.
